The entire sixth grade will be going on a field trip to the Detroit Zoo on Thursday, June 9th. We will be leaving Scripps at approximately 8:30 am and returning at 2:00 p.m. The cost includes the zoo entrance fee along with transportation via Lake Orion school buses. Payment may be paid on-line during the two-week window (4/11-4/25). We are also in need of parent volunteers. This is a fun day to chaperone your child and no more than four of their friends. There is a cap at 20 chaperones. If you are interested in volunteering, this will be a first come, first serve basis with approval of ICHAT form. Then, payment of 11.00 as well. Approved parent chaperones should report to Scripps at 8:15 a.m. on the morning of June 9th. Both
students and parents should bring a sack lunch, or money to purchase a lunch
at the zoo. (Everyone in charge of their own funds) If buying, the zoo serves
pizza, chicken strips, hamburgers, salads and prices range from seven dollars
on up. We attend rain or shine, so you might want to wear sunscreen, hats are approved, comfortable shoes, sunglasses, etc. *Dress code does apply Venue
