E 135 - PILATES FOR BEGINNERS

E135 PILATES FOR BEGINNERS Fee: $80 Tuesdays, 10/22 - 11/19 (Five Sessions) 6:30 - 7:30PM HS Room: Media Center Pilates is a system of exercise and movement that is designed to increase strength, flexibility, and balance. Pilates integrates breath and movement with proper body mechanics to increase greater physical and mental awareness of how the body moves and feels. Most Pilates exercises focus on the pelvis and trunk, using both stability and mobility to train the body. You can practice Pilates on a Mat using your own body and sometimes with small props. All you need is a mat! (Props will be included by the instructor as needed) 

INSTRUCTOR: Eilish Bresnan has completed her Pilates training through EYT Pilates teacher training. She is a certified EYT-200 yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance. She is a certified antigravity yoga, Pilates and fundamentals antigravity instructor.
