NORTH OLMSTED HIGH SCHOOL EMPTY BOWLS 2024

Eight years ago the United Nations created seventeen world Sustainable Goals.  Goal 2 is to end hunger, achieve food security, and improve nutrition.

Empty Bowls is an evening to tackle food insecurity in our community.  This fundraiser is put on by the North Olmsted SITES program (partnered with the North Olmsted Education Foundation) to promote awareness of local food insecurity and hunger.  ALL proceeds from this event will go directly to the North Olmsted Oxcart Food Pantry.  Their mission is to provide food assistance to families and individuals residing in North Olmsted who are currently experiencing need.

Please come to the North Olmsted Community Cabin on December 5, 2024 and enjoy some warm and hearty soup prepared by Mr. Novelli’s cooking classes, get an amazing one-of-a-kind bowl created by Mr. Duly’s ceramics classes, and enjoy some fresh bread donated by Mangia Bella Bakery of Fairview Park.

We ONLY have 60 bowls and meals available.  The ceramics students were so excited to be a part of this project that they made 30 extra bowls to raise even more money to support the pantry!

Bowls will be available for pick-up the night of the event!
