In the spirit
of supporting diversity and community involvement, the Henderson High School
Black Student Union (BSU) presents its 41st Annual Alice Thomas Scholarship
Banquet. The Alice Thomas Scholarship Banquet provides an opportunity for
district employees, students, parents and community members to interact as a
group, and recognize those who have contributed to the current and future
success of Henderson students. We have chosen “The power of our labor” as the theme
for this year's banquet. Each year, BSU faculty advisors and students honor
individuals who have made an impact in the Chester County area. For 2025, we
are recognizing Dr. Una Martin and
Pastor Jimmy Smuda and their church Trinity Assembly of God for their support
of the Henderson BSU. We are also
recognizing Denise Gallimore posthumously for her work in WCASD and her
support of the BSU. |
The Alice Thomas
Scholarship Banquet will be held in person on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at
11:30 AM.
