You may also drop your payment off at the address above Monday Through Friday from 8am to 4pm. Registration by mail will be entered in the order in which it is received.

Ceramics from Clay:
Discover your inner artist! Learn how to create original ceramic pieces through various hand building methods including: slab, pinch-pot, and sculptural techniques. Projects span from holiday decoration to fine art; it is your choice! A limited number of pottery wheels will also be available on a rotation basis for an opportunity to learn how to throw pottery. All levels are welcome. Instructor will provide all basic instruction and optional project ideas. Materials are included (stoneware clay and mid-range glazes). Take A Peek At Ceramics! This class runs simultaneously with “Mold Casted Ceramic Painting” and participants will have the option of participating in both experiences.

Mold Casted Ceramic Painting:
What is old is new again! Bring on the nostalgic memories of painting pre-made mold casted ceramic pieces from the 80’s and 90’s! Everyone will enjoy this fun class of learning a variety of painting and glazing techniques. Participants will choose their ceramic pieces from a menu and apply a variety of cold finishing painting techniques, or low fire glazes. This class runs simultaneously with “Ceramics from Clay” and participants will have the option of participating in both experiences.

Stained Glass:
Basic stained glass techniques are taught resulting in at least two projects. Students will learn how to safely cut glass, wrap cut pieces, solder together, patina and polish the finished piece. Class projects include a simple suncatcher and a larger panel or a 3D piece. Join us to create your own beautiful stained glass art!

Sewing with Patterns:
In this course you will learn all the basics for understanding how to read and follow a commercially produced sewing pattern. We’ll learn body measurements, terminology, sewing techniques that may be used, and tips for reading and understanding the directions. As we go, we’ll make pajama pants or another simple project and another pattern of your choice. By the end of the course we hope you will be comfortable enough in your use of sewing patterns to explore and experiment more at home. This course is recommended for those who already have a basic understanding of sewing from either Basic Sewing & Quilting, or another experience.

American Sign Language for All Levels:
Dive into the world of ASL with our engaging and interactive class designed for beginners and those looking to brush up on their skills. In a welcoming and supportive environment, you'll learn to communicate in ASL while having fun and building confidence. This course covers essential foundations, including the four key parameters of a sign: handshape, palm orientation, location, and movement. You’ll also develop a robust signing vocabulary, exploring topics like fingerspelling, numbers, colors, foods, basic verbs and nouns, emotions, family, and more. By the end of the session, you'll have the tools to hold basic conversations and creatively express yourself through sign.
