It’s a big, bright, beautiful world!! Norwalk High School students and director Robyn Rogers present SHREK THE MUSICAL, March 6-9 at the Ernsthausen Performing Arts Center. SHREK THE MUSICAL includes music by Jeanine Tesori and the book and lyrics are by David Lindsay-Abaire. It is based on the 2001 DreamWorks Animation film Shrek. This tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue will have people of all ages rolling with laughter as they travel along on their journey.
“Shrek” showcases the considerable dramatic and vocal talents of many students – AJ Mierzwinski as Shrek, Madelyn Long as Fiona, Brayden Bogan as Donkey, Isaac Bohne as Lord Farquad, and Kinleigh Lesch as Dragon, along with a cast of highly entertaining fairy tale characters and Duloc folks!!
To help support “SHREK THE MUSICAL”, the Drama Department is offering sponsorships for the March 6-9 production. Those who contribute to the show will be listed in the program, may receive complimentary reserved tickets and admission to the VIP room in the art gallery, and also may purchase additional tickets in advance.
