Harding Middle School is excited to extend an invitation to you to support our 2025 Washington DC trip. This annual educational excursion is  a cornerstone of our 8th-grade curriculum, providing students with a unique opportunity to witness firsthand the workings of our federal government and explore national historical sites  and artifacts. 

The 8th-grade students at Harding Middle School dedicate an entire year to studying  American history, delving into the events and people that shaped our nation from pre Revolution to the end of the Civil War. The Washington DC trip serves as a culmination of their  studies, allowing them to connect with history in a tangible way and deepen their  understanding of American government and citizenship.

In light of the current challenges facing our nation, it is more crucial than ever for our youth to comprehend the foundations of our democracy. Your support will play a pivotal role in  empowering these young minds to become informed leaders and active participants in our  community. 

This year, the field trip costs each student $685, and we are seeking sponsors to help support as many of our students and families as possible. As a supporter of the Washington DC field trip, your name/company will receive prominent recognition. Your name and logo will be displayed on the student t-shirts worn during the trip. Additionally, your contribution will be acknowledged by being printed on a banner that will be hung in the main lobby at Harding Middle School.

By supporting this initiative, you are investing in the educational enrichment of local youth and promoting a sense of civic responsibility and pride within our community. Furthermore, as a non-profit organization, Harding Middle School offers the added benefit of tax deductibility for your generous donation.

We also want to be transparent that your donation will be dispersed equally towards all students attending the D.C trip.
