Overview:

The OCS Department of Athletics is excited to host a Junior High Girls Summer Basketball League designed to provide competitive play opportunities for young athletes during the offseason. This league will serve as an excellent platform for skill development, team chemistry building, and preparation for the upcoming basketball season.

League Details:

· Game Dates: Tuesday, June 10, 2025; Tuesday, June 17, 2025; Tuesday, June 24, 2025

· Game Times: TBD

· Number of Games: 6 games guaranteed!

· Location: Fassett Junior High Gymnasium

· Entry Fee: $325 per team 

· Officials: Certified officials will be assigned

League Format:

· Each game will follow standard junior high basketball rules, with possible minor adjustments to accommodate time constraints.

· A game schedule will be provided in advance to allow teams ample time for preparation.

Purpose & Benefits:

· Offers young athletes a structured environment to enhance their skills during the summer.

· Encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and competition at an appropriate level.

· Provides an opportunity for local programs to engage in offseason development.

· Supports the Clay High School girls' basketball program through fundraising efforts.

Additional Information:

· Coaches are responsible for supervising their teams and ensuring sportsmanship among players.

· Spectators are welcome to attend and support the athletes.

· The league will be managed and overseen by Clay High School staff to ensure smooth operation and a positive experience for all participants.
